1. Purpose
These Terms govern registration for and participation in the ECW ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer Executive Experience, organised in Dakar from 14 to 18 December 2026.
They supplement the Terms of Sale, Terms of Use and Participation Terms.
2. Executive Experience content
Unless otherwise stated in writing, the price includes:
- the PECB Certified ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer programme;
- five days of training;
- the examination / certification pathway provided for by the programme;
- the ECW VIP status associated with this experience;
- access to the Closing Dinner on 17 December 2026;
- access to the ECW Executive Forum on 19 December 2026;
- access to the Executive Forum Dinner on 19 December 2026.
The Private Executive Experiences on 20 December are not automatically included and remain by invitation.
3. Training programme
The official programme includes, in particular:
- Day 1: introduction to ISO/IEC 27001 and initiation of ISMS implementation;
- Day 2: ISMS implementation plan;
- Day 3: ISMS implementation;
- Day 4: monitoring, continual improvement and preparation for the certification audit;
- Day 5: certification examination.
The applicable training details are those of the official programme provided for the session.
4. Price
The public price is €2,500 excluding tax per participant, unless otherwise offered in writing.
Any applicable taxes are added according to the tax circumstances of the customer and the contracting entity.
5. Registration and confirmation
Registration is definitively confirmed only after:
- the requested information has been provided;
- the Terms of Use, Terms of Sale, Participation Terms and these Terms have been accepted;
- full payment has been made, unless ECW has accepted a payment schedule in writing;
- ECW has issued electronic confirmation.
6. Payment
Payment may be made, in particular, by:
- bank transfer;
- card through the provider specified by ECW.
Bank details must come from an official ECW invoice / communication. If in doubt about a change of bank details, the customer must verify them through the Contact page before paying.
7. Right of withdrawal
Where a participant legally qualifies as a consumer and registration is concluded online, the right of withdrawal provided by Senegalese regulations applies under the conditions set out in the Terms of Sale.
For a professional customer, no consumer right of withdrawal is granted unless otherwise required by law or agreed in writing.
8. Cancellation and replacement
After any statutory right of withdrawal has expired:
- a participant replacement may be requested up to 5 working days before training, subject to administrative / training approval;
- any cancellation is subject to the policy set out in the Terms of Sale;
- absence or late arrival does not automatically entitle the participant to a refund.
9. Attendance and punctuality
The participant is responsible for attending sessions and being punctual.
Insufficient attendance may prevent access to certain stages, attestations or the examination where the certification body's rules require this.
10. Examination and certification
The examination is scheduled for Day 5, Friday 18 December 2026, subject to the relevant body's official instructions.
Successful completion of training or payment of the price does not guarantee certification.
The award of a certification depends, in particular, on:
- the examination result;
- the certification body's rules;
- any experience or application criteria applicable to the qualification sought;
- PECB's own formalities.
ECW has no authority to change an examination result or independently issue a PECB certification outside the authorised framework.
11. PECB terms and rules
The participant may be required to accept PECB-specific rules relating to the examination, materials, certification or data necessary to administer the programme.
In the event of a conflict concerning an examination / certification rule falling exclusively within PECB's remit, the official PECB rule prevails for that matter.
12. Materials and intellectual property
Training materials, examination questions, methods, trademarks and documents may be protected by intellectual property rights belonging to PECB or other holders.
In particular, it is prohibited to:
- copy / distribute materials beyond authorised use;
- record or reproduce an examination;
- share examination questions;
- resell materials;
- remove rights notices.
13. Equipment and prerequisites
The participant must have the equipment and prerequisites communicated before the session, including a computer where required, email access, identification needed for the examination and authentication means.
ECW communicates specific requirements before the start.
14. Closing Dinner - 17 December
The Closing Dinner is included in the Executive Experience and takes place on the evening of Thursday 17 December 2026, the day before the examination.
It is a hospitality experience associated with the ECW programme but does not replace any training or examination requirement.
15. Forum and Dinner - 19 December
The participant receives confirmed access to the ECW Executive Forum and the Executive Forum Dinner on Saturday 19 December 2026, subject to compliance with participation and safety rules.
16. Travel and accommodation
Unless expressly stated otherwise, the price of €2,500 excluding tax does not include:
- flights;
- accommodation;
- visas;
- personal transport;
- travel insurance;
- personal expenses.
The participant is responsible for organising and paying for these.
17. Changes / postponement
ECW may adapt the room, certain schedules, speakers or training arrangements where necessary without substantially altering the purpose of the service.
In the event of force majeure or a major inability to perform, ECW may offer postponement or an equivalent solution in accordance with the Terms of Sale.
18. Conduct
The participant must comply with the Participation Terms, respect other participants' confidentiality and follow the training / certification body's rules.
Examination fraud, unlawful reproduction or dangerous conduct may result in exclusion and the consequences provided for by the applicable rules.
19. Personal data
Data necessary for registration, training, the examination and certification may be exchanged with the entities strictly necessary to deliver the programme, in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
20. Liability
ECW provides the organisation and planned services but does not guarantee:
- passing the examination;
- the award of a certification;
- career advancement;
- a commercial outcome;
- the issue of a visa.
21. Order of precedence
For the Executive Experience:
- specific signed offer / quotation;
- these Training Terms;
- Terms of Sale;
- Participation Terms;
- Terms of Use.
